Enterprise software company TmaxSoft (CEO HyongYong Lee) stated on the 10th that it is accelerating its global system modernization strategy by enabling flexible AI transformation through OpenFrame.

As part of its expansion in Japan’s digital transformation (DX) market, TmaxSoft recently co-hosted a webinar with Skyage, a Japan-based IT and DX consulting firm, presenting strategies for successful mainframe modernization. The event generated strong interest and inquiries from potential customers in Japan regarding OpenFrame.

OpenFrame is an integrated solution that enables the safe migration of core business assets from traditionally closed legacy mainframe systems to modern environments. The company is particularly focusing on Japan, where demand for mainframe modernization is expected to surge due to the “digital cliff.” Additionally, with Fujitsu discontinuing new mainframe product sales and maintaining support only until 2035, demand for migration and cloud transformation is expected to continue.

TmaxSoft has already achieved strong results in Japan, securing large-scale modernization projects with major non-life insurers, life insurance companies, automotive firms, and financial institutions, generating stable revenue through its local subsidiary.
