SEOUL — TmaxSoft, a Korean enterprise software company led by CEO Hyongyong Lee, announced on August 19 that it will intensify efforts to secure major next-generation public-sector projects in the second half of 2026, building on strong first-half results in public-sector artificial intelligence (AI) and digital transformation (DX) initiatives.
During the first half of the year, TmaxSoft signed multiple WinBack contracts with public institutions, replacing foreign and open-source web application server (WAS) software with its own solutions. The company also secured several other public-sector projects, including development of an AI information system for a major public enterprise, an expansion of server virtualization infrastructure software, deployment of a mobile WAS, and information management system implementations for multiple public institutions.
These wins reinforce TmaxSoft's position as a leading Korean enterprise software provider and a representative K-software company. The company plans to deliver the projects successfully by applying its differentiated expertise in public-sector AI and cloud environments.
TmaxSoft attributed the results to the stability and high performance of its software, as well as favorable evaluations of its technical support services — capabilities demonstrated through more than 4,000 customer references accumulated over the years across public-sector, financial, manufacturing, telecommunications and other industries.
The company also credited its early identification of market opportunities and proactive sales-pipeline development aligned with the Korean government's public-sector AI transformation (AX) initiatives. With additional public-sector references secured through its latest contracts, TmaxSoft expects further opportunities in follow-on projects.
In the second half of the year, TmaxSoft will focus on large-scale next-generation projects to modernize aging IT infrastructure, education-related operating environments, and other information resources across public institutions and public enterprises. The company also expects growing demand for AI-enabled government services, cloud migration, system connectivity and integration, and disaster recovery (DR) infrastructure. To respond, TmaxSoft will continue submitting strategic proposals backed by its diversified enterprise software portfolio.
In addition to its web application server solutions, TmaxSoft offers AnyLink, an enterprise interface platform for system integration and connectivity, and Tmax, a transaction-processing (TP) monitor designed to strengthen transaction stability and business reliability.
TmaxSoft will participate in the 8th AI Government Innovation Conference on Thursday, August 27, at the Government Complex Sejong Convention Center. The event will bring together government ministries, public institutions, local governments and IT representatives, creating opportunities for public-sector digital transformation projects and partnerships.
At its exhibition booth, TmaxSoft will showcase Continuum AI, its enterprise AI business platform, alongside JEUS, WebtoB and AnyLink, demonstrating how its solutions can support AI-driven innovation in public administration and government services.
“We expect public-sector AX implementation, one of the government’s key priorities for the second half of the year, to accelerate. The potential for this demand to translate into tangible business opportunities is higher than ever,” said Geiyoung Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of TmaxSoft’s Public Sector Business Division. “We will continue strengthening our sales pipeline to pursue WinBack opportunities, infrastructure projects, large-scale next-generation initiatives, and new AI-based businesses.”
TmaxSoft entered a new phase in late 2024, adopting an independent management structure following its complete separation from Tmax Group. The company has introduced an AI-centered growth strategy and is building an AI solutions ecosystem as a leading K-software company. As part of its goal to become a global AI business platform company, TmaxSoft is developing Continuum AI, an enterprise AI business platform designed to support AI innovation across organizations.
